Nucleus – Sales (Order to Cash Cycle)

The Sales Module in Nucleus covers the complete journey from
customer inquiry to payment collection.

1. Sales Inquiry / Quotation

• Customer
  requests price or product details.


• Sales
  team creates a Quotation with pricing, discounts, and terms.


• Quotation
  sent to customer for approval.

2. Sales Order (SO)

• Once
  the customer accepts the quotation → Sales Order is created.


• SO
  includes product, quantity, delivery schedule, and agreed price.


• Internal
  approvals (if required).

3. Delivery / Dispatch

• Warehouse
  team prepares goods for shipment.


• Delivery
  Challan / Dispatch Note generated.


• Stock
  deducted automatically from inventory.

4. Sales Invoice

• After
  goods are delivered (or service rendered), the system generates an Invoice.


• Sent
  to the customer with payment terms (due date, bank details, etc.).

5. Payment Collection

• Customer
  makes payment (cash, cheque, online transfer, etc.).


• Payment
  recorded against the invoice in the system.


• Outstanding
  receivables tracked.

6. Reporting & Analytics

• Sales
  performance reports (by product, region, salesperson).


• Customer
  outstanding reports (aged receivables).


• Profitability
  & revenue trend analysis.
